The Solution
BPAD (Business Process Automation Discovery), a preliminary investigation aimed at targeted analysis of business processes from first customer contact to shipment completion, with the following activities and results:
- Qualitative interviews with key company figures to capture operational practices, critical issues, and improvement opportunities.
- Data collection and analysis related to times, costs, workloads, and performance; definition of any additional key performance indicators (KPIs) useful to highlight bottlenecks and waste within the processes under study.
- Review of existing documentation (procedures, manuals, digital tools, and management systems) to align "written" flows with the detected operational reality.
- White-boarding sessions (digital whiteboard writing) and collaborative design with internal teams to visualize mapped flows and hypothesize optimization solutions through digitalization, automation, and AI, functional to the "request-closure cycle" perimeter (from request to shipment closure).
